OLEDs purchased by smartphone makers in the second quarter of 2020 were analyzed.

Previously, Samsung Electronics used OLED the most for smartphones, but when looking at the OLED purchases of set makers in the second quarter, Chinese companies accounted for the most. When analyzing the purchase volume by country, China accounted for 30.4 million units, accounting for 52.5% of the total.

In the OLED purchase volume of Chinese companies in the second quarter, Huawei was the most at 53.4%, and the second was Oppo at 8.9%.

As the OLED usage of Chinese smartphone makers becomes the largest, the increase in production of Chinese panel makers is expected to accelerate.
