​According to the “2020 OLED Display Report in the second half of 2020,” published by UBI Research, the total OLED shipments in the first half of 2020 were 231 million units, a decrease of 95 million units from 326 million units in the second half of 2019, and sales in the first half of the year were $13.53 billion in the second half of last year. A decrease of $7.65 billion from $21.18 billion. By application, it decreased in areas excluding automobiles and foldable phones. Meanwhile, in the second half of 2020, OLED shipments and sales are expected to increase by 65.5% and 107% from the previous quarter to 383 million units and 28 billion dollars, respectively. 

The smartphone panel, which is leading the OLED market, shipped 190 million units in the first half of 2020, accounting for 82.17% of the total. The turnover is 112.6 billion dollars with an 83.3% share.

The second-largest shipments were for watches, with 3348 million units, 14.4%, while the second-largest sales were for TV panels, accounting for 6.9% of $9.33 billion.

OLED for foldable phone was shipped to 1.72 million units, forming a market of 216 billion dollars.
